Azerbaijani State Commission confirms official report on repatriation of Mubariz Ibrahimov and Farid Ahmadovâ€™s bodies

APA reports quoting an official website of the State Commission that according to the joint declaration on regulation of Nagorno Karabakh conflict signed by President Dmitry Medvedev of Russia, President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and President Serzh Sargsyan of Armenia on October 27, and as a result of regular and productive negotiations conducted by the State Commission for Captives, Hostages and Missing People with international organizations, the bodies of Ensign of Azerbaijani Armed Forces Mubariz Ibrahimov, who heroically martyred while repulsing an attack of Armenian soldiers on June 18, 2010 and Farid Ahmadov, was martyred on September 4, 2010, were repatriated on November 6, 2010. On the same day, the body of 81-year old Armenian citizen Gavrusha Arustamyan, who was found in Tartar River on June 18, 2010, was also handed over to the opposite side.

The repatriation process has been realized with the participation of representatives of the State Commission for Captives, Hostages and Missing People and Defense Ministry
under the auspices of the the International Committee of the Red Cross.
