Azerbaijani servicemen to join NATO Individual Partnership events

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. Azerbaijani militaries will join series of events within the bilateral cooperation programs signed with different countries and NATO Individual Partnership Plan, press service of the Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry told APA.

An expert group of the NATO Standardization Agency will hold NATO Standardization and Warning Efforts workshop in Baku on June 1-3. Combined Endeavor 2010 exercise final planning conference will take place in Budva, Montenegor on June 1-4, a working group of the Ground Troops communication and information systems will be held in Madrid, Spain on June 8-10, sixth workshop on modeling and simulation and fourth conference of the Joint Conflict and Tactic Simulation (JCATS) users will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria on June 8-11.

According to the Azerbaijan-Germany bilateral cooperation program, bilateral staff negotiations will be conducted in Berlin on June 1-3. Maintenance officers’ course will be organized in San Antonio, USA from June 8, 2010 to March, 2011 within the Azerbaijan-US working plan. The servicemen will also attend the fighting tactic exercise in Istanbul on June 8-10. Students of the first course of Azerbaijan Military Academy will make studying visits in Gelibolu, Afyon, Sakarya and Istanbul, Turkey on June 1-20.

The Azerbaijani servicemen will join the 14th South Caucasus and Moldova Clearing House Conference in Tallinn, Estonia on June 9-11, as well as workshop on security reforms, defense and operational concepts in Naples, Italy.
