177 Azerbaijani citizens brought to responsibility for violating rules of boundary regime in 2009

Baku. Reshad Suleymanov-APA. “62 ships were examined by the Coast Guard vessels of Azerbaijani State Border Service (SBS) in 2009â€, said Chief of Azerbaijan State Border Service, Lieutenant-General Elchin Guliyev at the meeting on outcomes of 2009, APA reports.
4 ships, 170 boats were examined and 177 Azerbaijani citizens were brought to responsibility for violating rules of boundary regime last yea. 81 691 hooks, 62 500 meters net, 3,2 tones fish were taken from contrabandists.
Guliyev noted that special attention was given to the strengthening of state border security in the Caspian Sea and security of oil deposits in 2009. The state border security was organized by the Coast Guard vessels of Azerbaijan State Border Service in the direction of central, southern and northern parts of the Caspian Sea belonging to Azerbaijan- Chilov and Nargin islands, “Neft Dashlariâ€, Neftchala, Lenkeran, Astara, Hesengulu.
