Azerbaijani Defense Ministry: The results of the bacteriological and laboratory samples taken from the soldiers supposedly poisoned have been announced

Spokesman for Defense Ministry Eldar Sabiroglu told APA that according to the analysis of the samples taken from 6 soldiers, the symptoms of functional gastric disorder were found in the soldiers. Inflammation of gastrointestinal tract caused the disorder.

To APAâ€™s question about the causes of the excitement around the incident, Eldar Sabiroglu said all the cases were being investigated.
â€œThe answer will possibly be found,â€ he said.

164 soldiers were taken to the Military Clinic Hospital from Defense Ministryâ€™s Garaheybet Training Center on May 26. After the thorough examination 158 soldiers returned to the training center. Some diseases were found in 6 soldiers, they stayed in hospital for additional examination and treatment. The soldiers were sent to the training center on May 29.

Baku Military Prosecutorâ€™s Office has launched criminal case on the fact, investigation is underway.
