Delegation of the Jordanâ€™s National Committee for Demining and Rehabilitation to visit Azerbaijan

Baku â€“APA. Chairman of the Jordanâ€™s National Committee for Demining and Rehabilitation Prince Mired Raad Al-Hussein will be on a visit to Azerbaijan on May 3-6, 2009. The Jordanian delegation headed by Prince Mired will visit Fuzuli Region of Azerbaijan, where they will be briefed about the mine actions conducted by the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Actions (ANAMA), handheld operations, mine detection dogs and mine cleaning vehicles, ANAMA press service told APA. The guests will be also informed about the trainings and special research procedures conducted by the ANAMA Training, Research and Quality Guarantee Organization. They will hold meetings at the ANAMA Head Office, where they will get detailed information about the mine actions program in Azerbaijan and will discuss all possible opportunities for cooperation in future. The delegation is planning to meet with the government officials of Azerbaijan as well.
