Turkish and Ukrainian Presidents discussed efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine war during their meeting in Ankara, APA’s Istanbul correspondent reports, citing the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye.
The Turkish President emphasized that, at this stage, resolving the Russia-Ukraine conflict through direct negotiations is essential.
Erdoğan stated that a historic opportunity should be seized to launch talks and expressed strong support for potential negotiations at both technical and leadership levels.
He also added that Türkiye is ready to host a meeting between the two leaders.
