Ahmet Demirok, the ambassador of Türkiye in Ashgabat, stated that they wish Turkmenistan to join the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking Countries (TÜRKPA) as a full member, APA reports citing Turkish newspaper "Star".
"We wish for Turkmenistan to join the OTS and TÜRKPA as a full member. Turkmenistan is a very important member of the Turkic world family. We fully believe that Turkmenistan's becoming a full member of the OTS shortly will further strengthen cooperation within the Turkic world," he added.
