Pakistan has begun preparations for a possible military attack from India and has declared that it will respond with full force in such a scenario, said Pakistan's Defense Minister, Khawaja Asif, APA reports.
The minister said that "the international community should pay attention to this dangerous dispute, which could escalate into a nuclear confrontation."
According to him, both Pakistan and India are nuclear-armed states, which makes the situation even more dangerous.
"Any action initiated by India will be met with full force. If they attack or take similar steps, it will result in a massive retaliation. Such a confrontation will clearly escalate into a large-scale war. Tensions between nuclear-armed countries are always worrying. The world should pay attention to this issue. These are two nuclear states – if the situation goes out of control, the consequences could be catastrophic," emphasized Pakistan's defense minister.
Note that on April 22, armed individuals opened fire on a group of tourists in the Kashmir region administered by India, killing at least 26 people and injuring 17.
