The President of Türkiye has a continuous call for a ceasefire regarding the Russia-Ukraine war, said Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan at a joint press conference in Ankara with his Jordanian and Syrian counterparts, APA reports.
He said that Türkiye is ready to contribute to the process.
Hakan Fidan invited the parties to a ceasefire.
“I believe that in the coming days the parties may be able to reach a compromise regarding contacts. Ukraine wants a ceasefire first, then dialogue, while Russia prefers dialogue first, then a ceasefire. All of this is normal,” the minister added.
