Lebanese public health ministry says 1 killed, 68 hurt in Israeli strike on Beirut building-UPDATED

The Israeli strike on a Beirut apartment building killed one person and wounded 68 others, including five who are in critical condition, Lebanon’s public health ministry says, APA reports.

Hezbollah’s Al-Manar TV says 17 wounded were taken to the private Bahman Hospital, while 14 were taken to Hezbollah’s Rasoul Aazam hospital.

Israel says it launched a strike in Beirut, Lebanon, targeting a Hezbollah commander that it blamed for a deadly attack in the Golan Heights, APA reports citing NNA.

At least one person was killed and several others injured in the strike, according to Lebanese state news agency NNA. The injured, including some with serious wounds, have been taken to nearby hospitals.
