"Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi will visit India on May 8," said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Bagai, APA reports.
He stated, “During his visit to Pakistan today, the foreign minister will meet with his Pakistani counterpart, the Prime Minister, and the President.”
Bagai added that the foreign minister's visit to Pakistan will conclude today, and he will travel to India to attend the Iran-India Joint Commission meeting on May 8.
It is noteworthy that Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Aragchi, is in Pakistan to mediate between India and Pakistan following a deadly attack on tourists in Indian-administered Kashmir last April. Tehran has expressed its readiness to assist in easing military operations between India and Pakistan.
