Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian, APA reports citing the The Republic of Türkiye Directorate of Communications.
The two leaders exchanged views on the Israel-Iran conflict, as well as other regional and global issues.
President Erdoğan stated that he has held phone talks with several world leaders to help reduce tensions in the region and to encourage a return to nuclear negotiations.
He emphasized Türkiye’s commitment to preserving peace and stability in the region.
