The death toll from the explosion at the Shahid Rajaee port in southern Iran has climbed to 70, according to crisis management director of Iran’s Hormozgan province, APA reports citing Mehr News Agency.
According to the agency, the firefighting operation is over.

The death toll from a major explosion in Iran's most important container port of Bandar Abbas has risen to at least 65, the Iranian state media reported on Monday, APA reports, citig Reuters.
Saturday's blast took place in the Shahid Rajaee section of the port, Iran's biggest container hub, shattering windows for several kilometers around, tearing metal strips off shipping containers and badly damaging goods inside, state media said.
