The total amount of Azerbaijani public debt has been announced, ONA reports.
According to the draft law "On Execution of the State Budget for 2018" and report of the Accounts Chamber related to State Budget Implementation, the total amount of public debt was AZN 16 496,2 million on January 1, 2019.
The ratio of public debt to GDP in 2018 was 20.7 % and the per capita debt amounted to AZN 1 653,9.
AZN 15 176 mln. (92 %) of the total public debt accounted for foreign debt, and AZN 1320,2 (8 %) accounted for domestic debt.
