Petkim petrochemical complex, the main share in which belongs to SOCAR, had a net profit of 144 million Turkish liras in the first quarter of this year, which is 14% more than in the same period last year, ONA reports.
Petkim’s revenues in January-March this year amounted to 2.83 billion liras. Its sales increased by 51% compared to the first quarter of last year.
Petkim exports its products to 78 countries. Its 60 different products meet about 20% of Turkey's petrochemical demand.
SOCAR has a 51% stake in Petkim Holding.
