Large companies have invested billions of dollars in Azerbaijan in connection with the protection and security environment of investment created in Azerbaijan, said Gary Jones, Regional Vice President of BP for Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey, at 26th International Caspian Oil and Gas Conference, ONA reports.
According to him, the main strategy of the company is to continue the production of oil and gas, Azerbaijan has great opportunities for this.
“In particular, we have very large geological exploratory projects. Among them, both oil and gas production is expected. We see potential in the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz fields if success is on our side. We will develop this project and we are confident that there will always be world-wide resources in the Caspian Sea”- G. Jones noted.
He also added that the company has great confidence, reliance, and assurance in this region and BP is ready to cope with the challenges ahead.
