"Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) and Boeing corporations continue negotiations regarding the order of Boeing 737 MAX 8, said marketing, trade and production director of AZAL Fuad Yusifov, ONA reports.
“We are still negotiating with Boeing Corporation. Lets see what they offer”, said F.Yusifov
At the same time AZAL official does not exclude the replacement of ordered Boeing 737 MAX 8.
“Currently there are negotiations between the higher management of the sides and I think that everything will be clear in the next 2-3 months”, F.Yusifov added.
According to him, the current situation impacted AZAL and the other big airlines. This has very negative impact on Boeing Corporation. Thus, US corporation is losing more than other companies.
It should be noted that AZAL ordered 10 Boeing 737 MAX 8 from Boeing Corporation. However, Boeing 737 MAX 8 has crushed two times in the last half year and as a result 346 people have died. Airlines from 30 countries have already refused to use this kind of aircrafts.
