The newly constructed bitumen facility of the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery is expected to be fully operational in the second quarter of this year, said the head of engineering department of the Refinery Baladadash Zeynalov at the Processing and Petrochemical Industry at the Caspian and Central Asia conference held within 4th SOCAR International Caspian and Central Asia Downstream Forum – Trading, Logistics, Refining, Petrochemicals, ONA reports.
According to him, it is planned to carry out preparatory works for the planned refurbishment of the Refinery in 2019.
B.Zeynalov stated that the Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery has processed 300 million ton of oil throughout its half of century history. 15 types of oil products are being produced at the Refinery.
