The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that the port of Ras Isa, located on the Red Sea coast of Yemen, in the province of Al-Hudaydah, was completely destroyed as a result of strikes carried out by American military personnel, the official page of the command wrote on the “X” social network, APA reports.
“The goal was to destroy the fuel source of the Iranian-backed Houthis,” the statement said.
According to the version of “CENTCOM”, the destruction of the port of Ras Isa, which is controlled by the Houthis, deprived the radical group of illegal income from the sale of oil products and access to fuel.
