The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) has expressed outrage over U.S. President Donald Trump's failure to use the term "genocide" in his statement on April 24, APA reports.
ANCA's leader, Aram Ambaryan, called Trump's decision a shameful retreat.
He stated that Trump "bowed to Türkiye's threats and attempted to avoid responsibility."
Ambaryan also complaining about the "cold attitude" of Republicans, recalled that during the Democrats' tenure, Washington made political gestures towards Armenia and actively used terms with no legal weight.
