ACSDA: The biased opinion of the US Department of State may lead to the realization in Azerbaijan of the scenario of Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine

Zulfugarli criticized the opinion of the Department of State on the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan. Representatives of ACSDA said though the Department of State’s opinion refers to the opinion of the OSCE/ODIHR, OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) and European Parliament, it demonstrates a different position.
“Actually, the opinion of the Department of State differs from the opinion of the abovementioned four international organizations. The Department of State said “The parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan didn’t meet the international standardsâ€. But the abovementioned organizations did not say so. We consider that the position of the Department of State may lead to the distortion of the opinion of the four international organizations, realization in Azerbaijan, the leading state of the South Caucasus, of the scenario that was tested in Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine aiming to violate the stability after the elections. The biased opinion of the Department of State is intended for exerting pressure on Azerbaijan,†he said.
