Chief of Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev votes in polling station #7 of Sabail ConEC #29

Ramiz Mehdiyev told journalists that the elections are being held in stable and calm atmosphere.
â€œI think the situation is very good. This is not only my opinion, foreign observers, including the representatives of the European Parliament also highly appreciate the elections. We had a meeting with them yesterday. They highly appreciate stability in Azerbaijan. The preparations for the elections were on the highest level. Calm, normal election is being held today,â€ he said.

Asked about the results of the parliamentary elections, Ramiz Mehdiyev said the results will be much better.
â€œAt every parliamentary elections we gain new achievements, persons with new style of thinking come to the parliament. I suppose this time will also be so. The personality of the candidates gives us reason to say this,â€ he said.
