Mazahir Panahov: I will get familiarized with the second interim report issued by the Election Observation Mission of the OSCE/ODIHR

Baku. Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. â€œThe second interim report issued by the Election Observation Mission of the OSCE/ODHIR is already on my table. I will get familiarized with it. As regards the general position on the organizationâ€™s report, I can not drop remarks with respect to them. It is not in my competence. We continue our activity within the framework of the law,â€ chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov told journalists, APA reports.

Mazahir Panahov said CEC is interested in normal relations and cooperation with OSCE and other international institutions.
â€œI think they also play some role in the formation of opinion in Azerbaijanâ€™s society. The Azerbaijani society does not have simple-minded attitude towards these issues any more. Some people used to think that the international organizations would closely participate in the formation of the society in Azerbaijan. But they also see that there is no such thing in the world. Every society should form its country itself. We already have such a society,â€ he said.
