Large amount of money stolen from bank in Moscow


About 20 million rubles (nearly 340,000 US dollars) in cash have been stolen by unknown persons from one of the branches of Bulgar bank in Moscow, APA reports citing local media.  

 

The bank deputy director appealed to the police, claiming that the theft was committed between 31 December 2016 and 10 January 2017.

 

Russia’s law-enforcement bodies have confirmed the information about the theft of 20 million rubles from the bank. An investigation is underway on the incident.
