Mexico sees jump in swine flu cases, 95 people dead

Baku – APA. Mexico has seen a sharp jump in cases of the virus H1N1, popularly known as swine flu, killing 95 people in the past week, RIA Novosti reported.

The total number of deaths from flu cases since October 2015 has increased to 372. Of them, 278 people died of swine flu.

 

Mexico has reported 8,000 cases of infection by various influenza viruses.

 

Earlier, the Mexican government emphasized schools should not shutter their doors due to the flu, however, many private kindergartens and schools before the start of spring break decided to suspend classes.
