Car bomb kills at least three in center of Somali capital

At least three people were killed, and five others wounded in a car bomb blast in Somali capital Mogadishu on Friday evening, police said, APA reports quoting Anadolu Agency.

The incident took place during the rush hour on a busy road near Ambassador Hotel, police officer Mohamed Bulle told Anadolu Agency.

"We don't know the target yet," Bulle said adding the victims were all civilians and were rushed to hospitals for treatment.

No group has claimed responsibility, although al-Shabaab militants have been linked to similar attacks in the past.

Last Sunday, at least five people were killed and more than 10 others were wounded in another car bomb explosion in the capital.
