Armenians plunder natural resources of Azerbaijan’s Aghdam region they occupied
There were 1736 ha public forests, 710 ha collective farm forests, 560 ha roadside and river banks, as well as suburban green belt before the occupation, press service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told APA. 64 863 thousand sq. m of block stones, 140 464 thousand tons of Chobandagh limestone, 44 708 thousand tons of Boyahmedli and 25197 thousand tons of Shorbulag clay resources remained in the occupied territory. The longest river in the region – Khachinchay, 104 km, has 657 sq. km of water-collecting area. There were 14 Eastern plane trees of 150-200 years and 71 Eastern plane trees of about 400 years in Aghdam, which were protected as a natural monument. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan established a crisis center, which is learning destructive impact on environment and natural resources in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, found out following facts about Armenian plunder against the natural resources of the region, including cutting of the 400-year-old eastern plane trees. 6330 ha of pasture were burnt by the Armenian militaries in the occupied Novruzlu, Yusifjanli, Kanagarli, Chelik, Garadaghli-Kengerlisi, Goytepe, Gulchuluk villages of the Aghdam region. A number of partridges, pheasants and adders, which were included in the red list of the International Nature Protection Union, were killed during the fire

Head of investigative group: “Necessary measures will be taken against some commanders of 366th regiment for their crimes against Azerbaijanis”
The courts passed decisions in absentia about them and asked the Interpol’s bureau in Azerbaijan to declare them internationally wanted, head of the joint investigative operational group Mehman Poladov, APA reports. He said commanders of the Russian 366th regiment were also among the internally wanted persons. “There are both Russians and Armenians among them. The investigative group is collecting now their photos and personal details”.

“Karabakh genocide: doomed Khojaly” book presented
Baku. Kamala Guliyeva – APA. On Wednesday, the State Commission for Captives, Hostages and Missing People organized presentation of the book “Karabakh genocide: doomed Khojaly” by journalist Tatyana Chaladze. According to APA, Commission Secretary Shahin Sailov addressed the ceremony and said the book was prepared on the basis of materials collected by the joint investigative group of the Ministry of National Security, Interior Ministry and Republican Prosecutor’s Office, as well as by the State Commission. Minister of National Security Eldar Mahmoudov and Defense Adviser to the President of Azerbaijan Vahid Aliyev supported the book, which was published in Russian first and then will be translated to Latvian, English and other languages. “The law doesn’t allow publication of the investigative materials before the end of the investigation. The book contains both investigative materials and secret documents published for the first time. Earlier there was no such publication in Azerbaijan”.

279 persons related to crimes of Armenian armed forces are wanted via Interpol
Reporting about the investigation of the Khojali, Gardaghli, Meshali and Baganis-Ayrim tragedies, terrorism, as well as tortures against the captured people and other crimes of the Armenian armed forces, Valiyev said those crimes were condemned according to the article 103 and other articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan and 279 persons accused in those crimes were wanted via Interpol. World community should be informed of Armenians’ slaughters against Azerbaijanis in Garadaghli, Agdaban along with Khojaly
According to him, from 1988 till 1993 Armenian military units and Russia’s 366th Motorized Rifle Regiment in Khankendi committed acts of genocide in tens of Azerbaijani villages. He said that slaughters were committed in Garadaghli village of Khojavend region on February 17, 1992 and Aghdaban village of Kalbajar region on April 7. 70% of the people were killed in these villages. Akif Nagi noted that analogous acts of genocide were also committed in seven villages of Gazakh region.

Ilgar Aliyev: We saw Armenians behead over 60 Khojaly people
They put the bodies of women and children into the silo in Baylik garden near the village,” Ilgar Aliyev, resident of Garadaghli and witness of the happenings told APA. He said that Armenians shot the village residents and put still alive people into the well. Ilgar Aliyev said was taken hostage after Garadaghli village of Khojavend region was occupied by the military units of Armenia on February 17, 1992.

Amnesty International applies to Iranian government on Hadi Musavi
Amnesty International applied to the Iranian government on the case of Hadi Musavi, activist of Southern Azerbaijan National Awakening Movement (SANAM), who was deported to Iran by Interior Ministry’s Migration Department, SANAM Baku bureau press service’s head Agri Garadaghli told APA. The application addressed to Iranian government requested to investigate Hadi Musavi’s case and inform his family on it. Agri Garadaghli also commented on the news that presented Hadi Musavi as Iran secret service’s agent.

Mahmudali Chohraganli rejected his resignation
He did it because of the appeals of international organizations and political leaders, SANAM Baku office told the APA. The central committee of the organization appealed Chohraganli to change his decision. It was stressed that Chohraganli’s activity is important for South Azerbaijan’s liberty. At last he decided to change his decision though he still has problems with his health. Agri Garadaghli, chief of the press service of SANAM office in Baku told the APA that the SANAM leader is treated and he is under doctor’s observation. /APA/
