Baku. Kenan Hasanov - APA-Sport. “The game with Cheparinov was giddy indeed, as if two mad were struggling for win. We had a bad show. First Ivan than I made some rough mistakes”, said Azerbaijani chess player Teimour Radjabov who is attending Grand Prix in Sochi, Russia.
The grandmaster explained the blunders in the encounter.
“I intended to beat pawn while I lost queen. Then I increased attacks with pawns. As I expected the opponent also made a mistake. I think something is wrong with me in last two rounds. I should be more attentive”, he said.
Radjabov also touched upon the defeat by Russian Pyotr Svidler.
“Everything was under the control in the beginning. Suddenly I made a mistake and tried to draw the game. It didn’t work. Such blunders are unforgivable”, he added.
