Mansur Piriyev, head of the information support and innovative solutions department of Azerbaijan's Food Safety Agency, told APA-Economics that agricultural products and documents showing their origin will be checked and, if necessary, samples will be taken to the laboratory.
According to him, the quality of products will be strictly controlled and in the case of any deficiency, the sale will be suspended immediately.
It should be noted that as a result of the monitoring and improvements carried out in 111 veterinary and sanitary examination laboratories available in the country, 39 food safety control points have been set up. The remaining laboratories are also improving their logistics, and equipment with apparatus, etc.
