According to the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, SOCAR’s Kulevi terminal in Georgia transported 0.5 million tonnes of oil and oil products in January-April 2018, down 0.1 million tonnes from previous year.
Georgia’s ports and terminals have totally processed 5 million tonnes of cargo in the reporting period, down 0.6 million tonnes from previous year.
Batumi port processed 1.1 million tonnes of cargo, Supsa port – 1.4 million tonnes and Poti port – 2 million tonnes.
Number of cargo containers in Poti and Batumi ports increased by 18,188 units to 133,169.
