The Azerbaijani Army’s meat consumption is more than 500 tons per month, Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov said on Wednesday, APA reports.
The Azerbaijani state meets all the needs of the army, the minister stressed.
“Our soldiers are provided with national meals three times a day. They are fed with the highest quality food. Our state does everything for the convenience of servicemen. Food for soldiers is prepared by civilians. All this is done to improve combat readiness,” Hasanov said.
The defense ministry said that soldiers should be focused on increasing their combat training.
“Today the Azerbaijani army’s combat readiness is at a high level, and is fully prepared to free the country's occupied lands," he added.
