The U.S. welcomes the completion of Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline Project (TANAP) project, U.S. Chargé d'Affaires in Azerbaijan William Gill said on Friday, APA reports.
The U.S. has been committed to supporting the Southern Gas Corridor project since the very beginning, the diplomat noted.
“TANAP is a part of this project. I attended the opening ceremony of the Southern Gas Corridor project in Sangachal last week. Addressing the ceremony, President Ilham Aliyev underlined the importance of support for this project by the U.S. and international financial communities,” Gill added.
