Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov is on a visit to the country’s Zagatala district to examine the houses affected by a strong earthquake on June 5.
The minister and other officials of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, alongside representatives of the Zagatala District Executive Authority, viewed the conditions in the Aliabad settlement, APA's local bureau reports.
A 6-magnitude earthquake struck Azerbaijan’s Zagatala district on June 5. The quake was recorded at 11:40 PM local time.
As a result of the earthquake, cracks have appeared on some houses.
