Azerbaijan’s Bar Association on Wednesday held an event titled “Integration of advocacy into electronic judicial information system” and an inauguration ceremony of new lawyers.
Anar Baghirov, chairman of the Presidium of the Bar Association, said substantial work has been done over the past six months since the presidium’s re-formation.
He noted that the fact that there is lawyers’ registry on the Association’s website helps to prevent others from pretending to be lawyers.
Ramin Gurbanov, head of the Justice Ministry’s working group on “Electronic Court” information system, talked about the work done in judicial system and how these efforts improve the business atmosphere in the country. He added that integration of advocacy into electronic court information system is essential.
The event proceeded with discussions.
At the end of the event, an inauguration of new lawyers was held.
