Traces of explosives were found on the body of a victim of 2010 plane crash that killed President Lech Kaczyński and 95 others, a Polish government commission said on Tuesday, APA reports citing Wiadomosci.

“Numerous parts of the aircraft, as well as the body of at least one victim examined by specialized devices, including Chromatography, showed the presence of explosives,” the commission said on Tuesday.

A Polish Air Force Tu-154 plane crashed near the Russian city of Smolensk on April 10, 2010, killing all 96 people on board, including President Lech Kaczynski.

A previous Polish government blamed pilot error for the crash, but current government ordered a new investigation which concluded this year that the plane was brought down by explosions on board.
