The leadership of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) and guests of the event held to mark the 10th anniversary of the MES Academy on Monday visited the Alley of Honor in Baku to lay flowers at the grave of Azerbaijan’s national leader Heydar Aliyev, APA reports.
The guests also put flowers at the grave of famous ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva in the Alley of Honor.
The MES leadership and the guests then visited the Alley of Martyrs to pay tribute to Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country’s independence and territorial integrity. They laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument in the Alley of Martyrs.
