Seven candidates submit documents for post of ITV director general

Seven candidates have submitted their documents for the post of director general of the Azerbaijani Public Television and Radio (ITV), the National Television and Radio Council (NTRC) told APA.

The candidates are as follows:

Rauf Abbasov, Deputy Chief, Ganja Regional Department of Emergency Situations and Civil Defense

Sabuhi Abbasov, Editor-in-Chief, 7news.az website

Shafag Mehraliyeva, Chief of Staff, ADA University

Rahila Mehtiyeva, Editor-in-Chief, Elite News Agency Ltd.

Garanfil Khalilova, currently unemployed

Sadig Garayev, Scientist, Central Botanical Garden of ANAS

Balakishi Gasimov, Deputy Director General, Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company

Documents of candidates for the post of director general of ITV will be submitted to the Broadcasting Council of ITV in accordance with the requirements of the Law on Public Television and Radio Broadcasting.
