Amendments are proposed to the Law “On Education” in Azerbaijan, APA reports.
According to the amendment, educators working in Azerbaijan’s general educational institutions will undergo certification testing every 5 (five) years, and the certificate will be valid till the next certification testing (for 5 years).
According to the draft law, labor relations with teachers who are not able to retake the certification testing, will be regulated under the Labor Code.
According to another amendment, teachers will undergo certification testing in Azerbaijan.
The draft laws will be tabled at the Parliament’s plenary session scheduled on May 31.
