Leading mobile operator intends to make high speed mobile internet available in regions
Pioneered in bringing 4G technology and making high speed mobile internet accessible for all subscribers in our country, Azercell Telecom continues the works towards expansion of this service in the regions, as well. The company has extended the LTE coverage and launched 4G service in Masalli and Jalilabad districts. Thus, 6 LTE stations have been recently installed in Masalli and 5 more in Jalilabad, allowing the local subscribers to enjoy high speed mobile internet. By joining 4G service, subscribers will also receive 5GB mobile internet from Azercell as a gift. In order to activate 5G data, subscribers need to text “4” to 2525.
Notably, as a first operator to launch 4G services in the regions following Baku and Absheron peninsula, Azercell introduced high speed mobile internet for its subscribers in Gandja, Shamkir, Lankaran and Shirvan last year. One of the major goals of the company for this year is to continue expansion of 4G network all over the country.
