Saudi Arabia should have an impact on U.S. President Donald Trump in the Palestinian issues, Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) Ismail Kahraman told APA when asked about the events taking place in the Middle East.
The refusal of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states to influence Donald Trump is wrong, noted Kahraman. “They are wrong. The issue about which we think that “it does not concern us today”, may affect us tomorrow. It is a boomerang. By diverging from international values, legal norms, humanistic feelings and thoughts, you would also get in these problems. This position is erroneous, and it needs to be corrected,” he added.
The Turkish parliamentary speaker added that Istanbul will host an emergency summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on the events in the Middle East on May 18.
