Word Bank: Commodity prices increase in April

Commodity prices increased in April 2018, says a new World Bank report, Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain: Europe and Central Asia Economic Update.

According to the report, energy prices increased 8.2%, non-oil prices surged 1.8%, grain products soared 5.1%, metal and minerals grew 2.3%, prices of drinks ascended 2.4%. During the reporting period, precious metals went up 0.7%, fertilizer price declined 0.7%.

Note that Brent crude was sold at $65.4 in February, $66.5 in March, $71.6 in April. WTI crude oil price made up $62.2 in February, $62.8 in March and $66.3 in April.

Moreover, god price made up $1,331 an ounce in February, $1,325 in March and $1,335 in April.
