The presidential pension for veterans of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, as well as those who worked at enterprises, departments and organizations in Leningrad during its siege in World War II and were awarded the medal “For the defense of Leningrad”, the badge “Living in the Leningrad Siege” has been increased from 110 manats to 121 manats.

This was reflected in the presidential order on revisions to the Azerbaijani President’s order of July 2, 2012 â„– 2320 on the presidential pension for veterans of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, as well as those who worked at enterprises, departments and organizations in Leningrad during its siege in World War II and were awarded the medal “For the defense of Leningrad”, the badge “Living in the Leningrad Siege”.

The mentioned order goes into effect on March 1, 2018.

The order was signed in connection with President Ilham Aliyev’s order of February 20, 2018 on increasing the monthly amount of pensions for veterans of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, from some categories by 10 percent from March 1, 2018.
