North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has departed from Pyongyang, heading to the Panmunjom border village to attend a meeting with South Korean President Moon Jae-in, APA reports quoting TASS.
According to KCNA, Kim Jong-un plans to discuss a wide range of issues aimed at improving bilateral relations, building peace and uniting the Korean Peninsula.
The North Korean leader will make a statement on the results of his talks with the South Korean president, KCNA added.
An inter-Korean summit, the first in more than ten years, will take place in Panmunjom on Friday.=
