Azerbaijan is defining new punishments for the termination of activities of institutions, enterprises and organizations through strikes and other means.
In this respect, a new Article 517-2.12 is proposed by Azerbaijan’s president to be added to the Code of Administrative Offences, APA reports.
According to the proposed article, a fine from 300 to 350 manats or an administrative detention up to 15 days considering circumstances of a case and identity of an infringer shall be applied to individuals for breach of the requirement to prohibit the termination of activities of institutions, enterprises and organizations through strikes and other means.
The draft law will be tabled at one of the parliament’s plenary sessions scheduled for May 1 and 4.
