Zurab Japaridze, leader of the New Political Centre — Girchi party in Georgia, said he will run for president in October’s election in 2018, APA’s Georgia bureau reports.
As Japaridze says in his video posted on Facebook, if he wins the presidential election, there will be many significant changes in Georgia over the next five years.
The New Political Centre — Girchi party was established in April 2016. Supporters of Georgia’s ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili represent the party that uses unconventional methods in the political struggle. The political organization has initiated the legalization of marijuana. The party also established a religious organization, registering it callers as religious figures, and providing reference for exemption from actual military service.
