The presidential election in Azerbaijan was organized at high-level, Head of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev told reporters on Wednesday, APA reports.
“As of 17:00, nearly 70 percent of voters cast their ballots in the election,” said Mehdiyev, noting that the April 11 election will be remembered as an important event.
Azerbaijan is holding presidential election today, on April 11. Eight candidates are registered for participating in the election.
The election is observed by 894 international observers and 58,175 local observers.
The voting will end at 19:00 local time.
