Realization of cashless Azerbaijan program will play an important role in management of monetary sphere, chairman of Central Bank of Azerbaijan Elman Rustamov said on April 11.
According to him, Azerbaijan will implement three projects this year.
‘Cashless Azerbaijan program is one of our serious programs. As you know, Central Bank will implement three projects in this year. These are ‘Instant payments’, ‘Cashless Azerbaijan’ and shift to blockchain technologies in 3D banking sector’. All three projects are running. Currently, actions plan is being developed. We cooperate with several bodies, especially Ministry of Taxes. Realization of Cashless Azerbaijan program will play an important role in management of monetary sphere, control over money supply, reforms in tax system. Therefore, we have created a joint working group with Ministry of Taxes’, Rustamov said.
