Israel grossly violates international law by keeping the Gaza Strip in blockade and continuing the occupation of Palestinian lands, said Foreign Minister of Iran, Mohammad Javad Zarif.
He made the remarks addressing the meeting of the Ministerial Committee on Palestine within the framework of interim ministerial conference of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) held in Baku on April 5, APA reports.
He noted that Israel continues to violate the rights of Palestinian civilians.
“There was another act of violence against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip last Friday. More than 20 Palestinians were killed and about 200 were injured. We will continue to support our Palestinian brothers. We support the NAM’s demand for an immediate lifting of the blockade of the Gaza Strip. Iran will continue to not recognize Israel as a state to support its Palestinian brothers,” said the Iranian minister.
