Six people were killed and two injured on Saturday in a head-on collision between a passenger car and truck in Lenkaran region of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
According to the report, collided a truck brand Shacman and a car of the brand Mitsubishi, as a result six people (3 men and 3 women) died from the injuries at the scene, little boy and driver of truck were injured.
The personalities of the dead people are known: Faig Aslanov, Fikret Aslanov, Namig Aslanov, Khanimgul Aslanova, Marziya Aslanova and Masma Aslanova. All of them were in the passenger car. The bodies of the dead and injured were recovered from the deformed vehicles by rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Injured people are: driver of the truck Natig Tevekkul oglu Jafarov, born in 1987 and 7 year old Ulvi Faig oglu Aslanov.
The victims were placed in the Lankaran district hospital.
An investigation is under way.
