The Nikulinsky District Court of Moscow on Thursday sentenced crime boss Zakhary Kalashov, nicknamed “Shakro Molodoy” (“Shakro the Young”), to 9 years and 10 months in prison, APA reports citing life.ru.
A state prosecutor had earlier asked the court to sentence Kalashov to 10 years in prison and impose a fine of 700,000 rubles (nearly $12,000).
Investigation materials suggest Kalashov became a leader of a criminal gang after the death of crime boss nicknamed Ded Khasan.
